Asher Gorelik, MD
Director of Geriatric Psychiatry Training
Dr. Asher Gorelik is a staff psychiatrist and Director of Geriatric Psychiatry Training. He is Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. After completing his undergraduate studies at Cornell University, he attended medical school and completed his residency training in psychiatry at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Gorelik ran a private practice in psychiatry for fifteen years. He subsequently co-managed the geriatric psychiatry program at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center and was a member of the USF Department of Psychiatry faculty. Before moving to California, Dr. Gorelik was Director of Medical Services and Quality for BayCare Behavioral Health in the Tampa Bay Region. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and a past President of the Florida Psychiatric Society.
