Director of Behavioral Medicine Education for the Family Medicine Residency

Dr. Diana Vang is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of California and the Director of Behavioral Medicine Education for the KDHCD Family Medicine Residency program. Dr. Vang was co-recipient of the 2012 Faculty of the Year Award for the Department of Psychiatry. Her credentials include a PhD and MA in Forensic Psychology and MA in Organizational Behavior. Dr. Vang’s experience includes serving as an expert witness for Courts and subject matter expert for the California Board of Psychology. She teaches on forensic psychology, cultural competence/diversity and has participated in community outreach projects among Hmong and Spanish-speaking communities. Dr. Vang has received a Superior Accomplishment Award from Porterville Developmental Center and has been recognized by the California State Assembly for outstanding service to the developmentally disabled community.
