Dr. Rucker chose Family Medicine as a specialty because she loves people of all ages. She has a passion for the community, and was recently presented the “Making a Difference in the Community Award” by the Visalia Chapter of Soroptimist International for her service to our community throughout the years. Dr. Rucker is also devoted to those less fortunate which is evident by her humanitarian trips. Among her credits is a 2010 trip to Haiti to care for those impacted by the earthquake. When asked what she would be if she were not a physician, she responded that she would like to be a writer or a speaker.
