Overall Results Through 2013

Overall patient satisfaction is measured through written surveys collected by Press Ganey. Our results to date show that:
 

  • Overall satisfaction has averaged 89%.
  • 81% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 77%.
  • Our average length of stay of 13 days was the same as the national average.
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. The program has served 476 patients in the past year.

 

Stroke

  • 79% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 72%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 15 days was lower than the national average of 16 days. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. 
  • The program has served 86 stroke patients in the past year.

Orthopedic

  • 88% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 80%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 11 days was lower than the national average of 12 days. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. 
  • The program has served 123 orthopedic patients in the past year.

Cardiac

  • 80% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 78%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 11 days was equal to the national average. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was slightly below the national average. 
  • The program has served 66 cardiac patients in the past year.

Amputee

  • 77% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 76%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 12 days was ower than the national average of 13 days. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was slightly below the national average.  
  • The program has served 57 amputee patients in the past year.

Spinal Cord

  • 74% of patients returned to the community, below than the national average of 77%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 16 days was the same as the national average. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. 
  • The program has served 53 spinal cord patients in the past year.
