Patient and Visitor Guidelines
Children Under 12:
Children under 12 years of age
are not permitted in the hospital.
Special requests can be made when life-threatening circumstances exist
by contacting security.
NO Cell Phones:
Cell phones are to be turned OFF
when you are in patient care areas. You
may use your cell phone in the lobby areas only. Cell phone use in patient areas may cause
8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The patient may have one adult in
attendance at all times throughout their hospital stay. The guest may request a recliner from the
nurse to make the stay more comfortable.
When a patient is from a large family, it is
recommended that the family appoint a family spokesperson to be the contact
person for the nursing staff. The
spokesperson can then share the information with the family and be their
contact for questions.
Mail service is available during
a patient’s stay. The patient’s name should be on the outside of the envelope,
as well as a return address.
