Pediatric Gastroenterologists also manage and treat children with feeding tubes, intravenous nutrition, and liver disease. They are also trained in endoscopic procedures such as esophagogastroduodenoscopy and colonoscopy. As part of the grant, a pediatric endoscopy suite is available, complete with equipment to perform procedures on children. Nutritional services are also available in the clinic by a pediatric dietitian.
