Dr. Herva is involved in both the Family Medicine and Psychiatry (pending accreditation) Residency Programs at Kaweah Delta Health Care District. She received her Master's in Forensic Psychology and Organizational Behavior as well as her Doctorate in Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University in Fresno, CA. Dr. Herva's diverse experience includes providing individual and group interventions to different populations, testifying in court as an expert witness, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for the California Board of Psychology, and participating in community activities including outreach projects in Hmong- and Spanish-speaking communities. She has also provided continuing education courses and seminars on cultural competence/diversity and forensic psychology. She is a native Hmong speaker and is connected to the local Hmong community both personally and professionally.
