Lifestyle Center continues free wellness series on March 14 in Visalia

VISALIA – The Lifestyle Center, the only medically-based fitness facility in Visalia, will begin the second year of its year-long wellness series on Thursday, March 14, to help people stay healthy. 

“This series is about educating people so that outside of working out they know how to be healthy and achieve overall wellness,” said Patrick Tazio, director of The Lifestyle Center.

The series will be hosted by members of The Lifestyle Center’s Medical Advisory Committee. All meetings take place at 6 p.m. on Thursdays at The Lifestyle Center, 5105 W. Cypress Ave. The schedule is as follows:

March 14: Hips – Healthy vs. Non-Healthy Hips with Ian C. Duncan, M.D., Orthopedic Surgery.
April 11: Rehabilitation Continuum of Care with Sanjiv M. Kaul, D.O., Physical                                      Medicine/Rehab
May 9: Travel Medicine with William C. Holvik, M.D., Family Practice
June 27: The Healthy Way to Use The Emergency Room with John E. Hipskind, M.D., Emergency Medicine
Sept. 12: Healthy Feet versus Unhealthy Feet with Paul R. Mayo, D.P.M., Podiatry
Oct. 10: Exercise Prescription and Over-The-Counter Medicine with John C. Booker, M.D., Family Practice
Nov. 14: Benefits of Exercise as a Lifestyle Choice with Roger D. Sebert, M.D., OB/GYN
